Elizabeth Gertsakis (1954– ) is an artist, curator, writer and cultural historian. She has lectured in art history in Australian universities and art schools, independently curated exhibitions for major state, regional and international museums and projects related to Australian art and culture. Gertsakis was Senior Curator of the National Design Collection (Philatelic Unit), Post Master Gallery, Australia Post from 1995-2010. She has undertaken Doctoral research at the University of Melbourne on the subject of photography and identity related to the Balkan Wars 1903-18 of northern Greece.
