Susan Purdy (1957–) is an artist and educator based in the Strezlecki Ranges in Gippsland, Victoria. She completed a Bachelor of Education at the State College of Victoria, Rusden in 1978 and a Master of Fine Arts at Monash University in 1996. She has exhibited her work widely since the 1980s and maintains a practice that focuses on the reinterpretation of early photographic processes, particularly the photogram technique. Her photographs tend to draw on subject matter from the natural world and often contain references to her Asian heritage.
