Matthew Sleeth (1972– ) is a Melbourne-based visual artist who completed a Diploma of Photography at Photography Studies College in 1995, a Master of Fine Arts at RMIT in 2007 and a Doctor of Philosophy at RMIT in 2013. His extensive artistic practice largely revolves around photography, but also incorporates film, sculpture and installation. Sleeth has spent time working abroad, particularly in the USA and Japan. He has exhibited widely since the mid-1990s, both nationally and internationally, and his works are held in the collections of major Australian institutions.
