Concettina Inserra (1966– ) is a Melbourne-based artist who primarily works with portrait photography. She completed a Bachelor of Arts (Photography) at RMIT in 1996 and a Master of Fine Art in Photomedia at Monash University in 2010. Exhibiting her work since the late 1990s, Inserra is often involved with performances and has collaborated with artists such as Nat Thomas and Lyndal Walker. In 2008 Inserra won the William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize alongside Nat Thomas for their collaborative piece, ‘Portrait of mother and daughter (after Mirka)’ (2008).
