Lyndell Brown (b. 1961 Australia) and Charles Green (b. 1953 Australia) are Castlemaine-based artists who have been working collaboratively since 1989. Both are graduates of the Victorian College of the Arts. Their practice is generally concerned with the circulation and synthesis of visual information in globalised economies. Painting, rather than photography, is their primary medium, but photomechanical reproduction in mass media informs the postmodern style of their painting.
