Lyndell Brown (born 1961 Melbourne) and Charles Green (born 1953 Melbourne) are a Castlemaine-based couple who have been working collaboratively since 1989. Both are graduates of the Victorian College of the Arts and have gone on to complete PhDs at the University of New South Wales and the University of Melbourne respectively. Their practice involves both painting and photography and is generally concerned with the circulation and synthesis of visual information in globalised economies. They are both engaged in ongoing research projects at tertiary institutions and their art works have been widely exhibited and collected.
