Kathy Mackey (1961– ) is a Queensland-based artist and educator working with photography, painting and installation art. She completed a Master of Arts Education at Griffith University in 1998 and a Doctor of Philosophy: Visual Arts Practice at Griffith University in 2011. Throughout her career, Mackey has developed and exhibited several bodies of work that explore photography as a performative act. In 2006, Mackey was the inaugural winner of the William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize.
