Emidio Puglielli (1964–) is a Melbourne-based artist who works largely with found photographs. He completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at RMIT in 1999, an honours program in photography at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2000 and a Master of Fine Arts at Hobart Centre for the Arts in 2005. Puglielli has been exhibiting his work since 1997 and focuses his practice on the relationship between the photograph as a material object and the photograph as an image. He is particularly interested in old photographs and their continued resonance in contemporary society.
