Kenneth Pleban (1964–) completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography at Prahran College in 1988. Throughout the 1990s he regularly exhibited his work in artist-run spaces and was included in a number of group exhibitions at venues such as the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art and 200 Gertrude Street. During this time he was working as a photographic technician in the slide library in the Visual Arts Department at Monash University and documenting art exhibitions around Melbourne for artists and gallerists. He stopped exhibiting his work in the early 2000s.
