The Smith & Singer People’s Choice Award is voted by the public during the exhibition period with the recipient receiving $5,000 to support their practice.
Previous winners of the People's Choice Award include Andrea Francolini's 'Read my lips' (2022), Ali Tahayori's ‘Sisterhood’ (2021), Zoe Arnott's ‘Max at 99’ (2020), Shoufay Derz's other-worldly landscape ‘Under erasure’ (2018) and Hoda Afshar for her ‘Portrait of Behrouz Boochani, Manus Island’ (2018).
