Bill Henson held his first solo exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria in 1975, at the incredible age of 19. From the early Untitled 1977 series to the lavish Paris Opera works of the early 1990s series and beyond, Henson will shed light on his origins, his motivations and his journey.
This is an MGA Foundation fundraising event. Proceeds from this event will assist the MGA Foundation acquire two rare photographs by iconic Australian photographer Carol Jerrems for MGA’s nationally significant collection of Australian photographs.
