A 2012 Monash WORDFEST event
Nicki Greenberg, Mandy Ord and Mirranda Burton, creators of comics and graphic novels, come together to discuss why comics are not just for kids, the value of the media in communicating ideas, their creative processes and how they came to be published.
Nicki Greenberg has produced graphic adaptations of both The Great Gatsby and Hamlet.
Mandy Ord explores modern inner-city life with Sensitive Creatures.
Mirranda Burton draws on her work teaching art to adults with disabilities in her first book Hidden.
This panel discussion will appeal to people interested in illustration, self publishing, comics, graphic novels and sequential art.
