Take inspiration from the photogravures in Hoppé Potraits: Society, Studio & Street and head to picturesque St Andrews for a hands-on workshop at The Baldessin Press with photo-based printmaker Silvi Glattauer. Learn about the history of photogravures and the contemporary non-silver process. You’ll ink a plate from SILVI’s collection of samples and make a print to take home! Includes ‘local produce’ organic pizza for lunch from A Boy Named Sue. There will be time for a short wander around the property too – so don’t forget your camera!
All materials, transport and lunch provided. Please bring an apron, disposable gloves and be sure to wear appropriate clothing for a St Andrews winter day.
