Travel to Rod McNicol’s studio in the heart of Fitzroy. Rod has worked in this same studio for over 30 years, and it forms the backdrop of most of his portrait work. Bus travel & lunch provided. Limited places.

Sunday 10 August | 5pm doors and bar opens | 6pm concert begins
Tony Gould and Imogen Manins will delight with a performance of Bach, Gershwin and Porter on piano and cello. Cheese and fruit platters available to purchase at the bar. Presented by Friends of MGA.

Fresh trip: The Asia-Pacific Photobook Archive presents a selection of ‘road’ themed international and domestic photobooks from its collection to browse, touch, and experience.
2-4pm
Gael Newton, Senior Curator of Photography, National Gallery of Australia chairs a panel with artists from The road as they discuss Australian photography in the 1970s and ‘80s.
