The inaugural Friends of MGA exhibition

We would like to encourage new members to join to take part in this initiative. The competition is free to enter, as long as you’re a paid up member of the Friends of MGA! Please spread the word to members and non-members!

The Friends of MGA Committee know that photographers are always looking for ways to get their work out there to a large audience, the Committee is also keen to continuously improve our offering to members. As such the Friends of MGA have announced our inaugural Photography Competition and Exhibition.

Open only to Friends of MGA members, we’re inviting the photographers in our community to submit up to three prints to the competition, to be selected for exhibition in the Gallery Breezeway and Ramp Gallery spaces as well as prize certificates in the categories of Best Print, Best Landscape, Best Portrait, Best Creative, Best Nature and Best Monochrome all up for grabs!

If selected your work must be available for uninterrupted display between 31 October – 26 November 2017.

Please note:
• Prints to be securely mounted in white 16x20” mounts.
• Work to be delivered to reception desk at Monash Gallery of Art, 860 Ferntree Gully Rd, Wheelers Hill VIC 3150.
• Prints must arrive between Friday 15 September and 24th September 2017
• Photographer’s name, print number and title of the work to be written in pencil on the back of the mount. No text is allowable on the front of the mount.
• Please deliver the completed entry form with your prints.
• Membership of the Friends of the MGA is a requirement of entry.
