Friends of MGA members are invited to an exclusive tour of ‘Photo Ark’ A National Geographic exhibition being hosted by Melbourne Zoo.
Please join Jane Scott, Curator of Photo Ark (and past-MGA Director) along with MGA’s new director Anouska Phizacklea for an insight into this exhibition of the work of photographer Joel Sartore.
Joel Sartore has visited 40 countries in his quest to create a photo archive of global biodiversity and the exhibition features images taken at Melbourne Zoo and Healesville Sanctuary. To date, Sartore has completed intimate portraits of more than 6,000 species. The exhibition is now open in Melbourne Zoo's Leopard Lodge and showcases these incredible portraits of animals on the brink.

Time: 10.30am tour - meet at 10.15am at the Rail Gate Entrance which is next to the Zoo’s own train station: Royal Park Station on the Upfield Line (map).
