Still life with spectacular beauty

MGA and The Glen invite you to an exclusive evening with renowned photographer Robyn Stacey.

In celebration of MGA’s exhibition, Robyn Stacey: as still as life, join us for complimentary refreshments followed by an intimate Q&A with Robyn, facilitated by MGA Director Anouska Phizacklea.

Robyn Stacey is fascinated by the history of the Renaissance and Baroque still life genre. Her magnificent photographs are monumental in scale and spectacular in their detailed beauty, which tease out the narratives of Australia’s colonial past.

The Robyn Stacey: as still as life exhibition opens at MGA on 24 November and runs until 3 March 2019.
