Photographer Jerzy Alexander Lau will share his experience of visiting the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Far East of Russia. The main focus of his trip was The South Kamchatka Sanctuary and the Kuril Lake with its large population of bears. However, Jerzy also encountered other magical landscapes in Kamchatka, a fascinating, wild and still pristine land which was only opened to the public after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1992.
