Come and colour a black-and-white photograph in our limited kids colouring workshop.
In response to some beautiful hand-coloured photographs currently on display as part of Visions of India: from the colonial to the contemporary we are running a fun and easy workshop for kids.
We will begin the workshop with a quick tour of the hand-coloured photographs in the gallery for inspiration before heading to the library meeting room to create our own masterpieces.
Using colouring pigments we will hand colour the intricate details of vintage black-and-white photographs. Kids can follow the style of the original artworks or interpret new and imaginative ways of colouring.
- Kids can take their artworks home at the end of the session

- Ensure kids are dressed with appropriate clothing for using colours, bring an apron if required
