Join us to learn to shoot and develop black and white film in a simple photography workshop.
Whether you are a newcomer to photography or an experienced photographer this workshop is suitable.
We will begin the day with a short introduction to 35mm film photography followed by a photowalk in MGA's surrounding parklands. Participants will be provided with a simple point and shoot film camera to use on the day and a roll of black and white film.
During the photowalk we will focus on seeing light and composing photographs in black and white. For experienced photographers this will be a challenge in going back to basics and rethinking photographs without relying on the technology and ability of the camera.
Once all photographs have been taken we will break for lunch before returning to MGA to develop our films by hand.
This workshop is fun for all ages and no photography or art experience is necessary.
BYO lunch and any other snacks and drinks you require
Some walking will be required, wear appropriate shoes and clothing for the weather on the day.
