MAPh is now inviting 2022’s VCE students of Art, Media and Studio Arts, as well as IB Visual Arts students to submit their photographic work for consideration for next year’s TOPshots exhibition. 2023 will mark the 15th anniversary of this annual award and exhibition, which has been celebrating emerging photomedia artists since 2008.
From the entries received, MAPh’s curators will make a selection of finalists for exhibition at MAPh and a guest artist judge will select a winning work. The winner of this year’s award will receive the Rosie Hughes Memorial Prize, sponsored by The Waverley Camera Club in memory of their late member Rosie Hughes.
As the Australian home of photography, MAPh is proud to have the opportunity to foreground and acknowledge the excellence of young photomedia artists in our community while providing a vital platform for these artists to share and exhibit their work.
