Join us at MAPh for some creative fun!
Thursdays 10 am-11 am (except for school and public holidays)
MAPh Mini Makers is a free program designed to creatively engage preschool-aged learners through art and design. Each week, we'll focus on one work from MAPh's collection or exhibitions to practice close looking, thinking and talking about how artists communicate ideas. Then, we'll explore what we've discovered through some creative moving and making. This program supports the Learning Outcomes described in the Australian Early Years Learning Framework:
- Children have a strong sense of identity
- Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
- Children are connected with and contribute to their world
- Children are confident and involved learners
- Children are effective communicators.
Free program, no booking required
Suitable for 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten students.
This program can be adapted to suit a variety of year levels and can be delivered as a Gallery program or as an incursion.
