Wednesday 22 January
10.30 am – 12 pm
Join author Melissa Gijsbers in this workshop for young writers and aspiring authors. Inspired by the summer exhibitions at MAPh, learn how to craft stories using artwork as your inspiration, create your own piece of writing and leave with short story draft and a toolkit of ideas to fuel your imagination. This session is a lot of fun (and nothing like English class!).
This program will take place in the Museum of Australian Photography galleries. Participants will be supervised by MAPh staff, parents are very welcome to join in! We will have pencils and paper, but you might like to bring your own notebook.
