The famous curved wall of our Focus Gallery is now permanently home to works from our wonderful collection. A feature of the original gallery entrance, the 22 metre-long curved wall is an important aspect of Harry Seidler’s design for the building. Now freshly plastered and painted, our curved wall makes a beautiful surface for works from our collection.

At the moment we have on display photographs by CHERINE FAHD and INGEBORG TYSSEN. Works hung in our Focus Gallery will be changed regularly, so that we will usually have photographs from our famous collection on display for you to see.

MAPh acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong People, and recognises their continuing connection to the land and waterways.

We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and extend this to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
