Izabela Pluta is a Sydney-based artist who migrated to Australia from Poland as a child. Her art practice explores themes of displacement and belonging through the photographic documentation of found objects and serendipitous encounters.

The centre piece of the exhibition will be a large photomural along the curved wall of the Focus Gallery exhibition space.

MAPh acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong People, and recognises their continuing connection to the land and waterways.

We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and extend this to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
