Join our Director’s Circle to empower MAPh to champion photography, deliver ground-breaking exhibitions, support the practice of living photographers and enable audiences to discover photography online.

This will include:

The William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize, an important annual survey of contemporary photographic practice in Australia and one of the most prestigious prizes in the country.
The highly-anticipated Summer series exhibition, which will feature a survey of a renowned artist
Through the lenses of over 50 artists,100 faces brings together 100 works drawn from three photographic collections to explore the portrait in its many forms, as well as what it means to collect portraiture both publicly and privately.
The emerging artist programs will continue to foster the next generation of photographers including Develop, TopShots and The Atrium Gallery.

Join us as we create new ways to engage digitally with existing and new audiences by transforming MAPh’s website.

Your donation will support content creation and bring our collection alive digitally with greater access for the education sector and the community.

A calendar of bespoke engagement events tailored to members will unfold throughout the year, hosted by the Director.

An annual calendar of engagement opportunities, including invitations to VIP previews, exhibition openings and public programs including artist talks and workshops

Director and Curator-led private tours, by appointment
Opportunity to attend intimate artist studio events and private collection tours
Out-of-hours access to the gallery, by appointment
Access to insights and expertise on photography
Complimentary catalogues for gallery exhibitions
A private audience with the Director and Chair
Invitations to join our National & International Program, offering talks and tours to special events and exhibition tours (Please note: travel incurs an additional cost).
