Artist statement:

Being left out and isolated are key themes in this photograph. This candid double exposure depicts the ugly nature of socialising as a man stands, excluded by the structural features that break through and morph into the second image of disco dancers snarling at you as you look on.

This image is another candid double exposure that expresses the party scene. Characters are engulfed and taken over by fun as they fail to see their friends struggling. The struggles of psychological issues are represented through the washed out structure infringing on the image of fun. The boy looks on emotionlessly as his friends are oblivious to his hardships as they dance.
