Artist statement: ‘Untitled (static action No. 1 – remnant)’ serves as a visual representation of the complex and nuanced discussions surrounding the politics of care in contemporary society. It invites viewers to explore the intricacies of the caregiving dynamic, challenging conventional notions and encouraging a re-evaluation of the roles we assume and the systems we rely upon. Ultimately, my aim is to spark empathy, awareness, and dialogue, fostering a collective endeavour toward a more compassionate and inclusive understanding of care.

My art practice is conceptually based and deeply rooted in exploring the politics of belongingness and the human condition, delving into the emotional intricacies of the human experience, and exploring the complexities of identity, belonging, and marginalisation.
