In this piece I deconstructed the innate human urge to catalogue and dissect the natural world. Represented through the extensive exploration of lemons from my backyard, I attempted to provoke the futility of exerting a human idea of control over the organic domain, which is, by essence, uncontrollable. As a self-diagnosed control freak, I questioned my own instincts to organise my environment, and instead of rejecting this universal experience, I captured the arbitrary conventions of scientific documentation.
