After a life dedicated to the exploration of light and in particular sunlight, I decided it was time to go directly to the source. For the past three years I have photographed and filmed Adelaide sunsets daily with a very long telephoto lens to produce still and moving images.
This candid photograph of a boy jumping off a jetty is drawn from this ongoing series and is in continuation of themes I have been exploring my entire life.
The series Species continues to question our existence and the transience of life. Why are we here? Where are we going? And what is happening next? It looks at humans as a species in the vastness of the universe, and how we're just a blip in the lifetime of this universe.
